We are relational beings and I have personally cultivated this drive since an early age- whether it was offering to help others, babysitting, or tutoring. This further developed into my calling to bring people closer to meaningful connections and contexts that will improve their lives. I have come to realize that this reflects my chosen work to assist those in healing and becoming their best selves so they may contribute their gifts to the world.

I am a mature, driven, and compassionate person. I believe that it’s important to be accountable to others, including myself. My own self-reflection has allowed me to be more present, attuned, and emotionally available.

I am often in awe of the resilience and determination I witness in my clients, and this in turn gives me strength. I believe my role as a therapist is further fortified by a deep sense of empathy and my genuine nature.

About Me

I am here to help build skills to manage difficult feelings and experiences and be a partner in having hard but important conversations. I see therapy as a way of better understanding oneself, learning strategies for new ways of thinking and acting, and developing and working toward meaningful goals.

I am always working to dismantle the stigma associated with mental health.

More About Me

I grew up in New England, but am now proud to call the DMV area home. I love everything DC has to offer including the music and food scenes, access to cultural information, and engagement with a diverse community. With living in the city, I try to get outside as much as possible, whether that's exploring the nearby National Arboretum or driving out to the Virginia mountains.

Much of my free time is devoted to family, friends, food, and travel. I love cooking, baking, and exploring new restaurants and cuisines. I feel a deep connection to my Italian roots and Italy is one of my favorite places to visit. I love yoga as a way to gain strength, focus on my breath, and recenter myself. I'm also actively working to develop a mindfulness mediation practice. I see myself as a social activist and feminist. Living in DC, I engage, volunteer, and protest with various organizations promoting social and racial justice.

CLINICAL BACKGROUND

I have trained and worked in a variety of settings including private practice, community based clinics, elementary schools, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, and outpatient pediatric medical hospitals (including endocrinology, craniofacial, and hematology/oncology clinics).

I have expertise with interdisciplinary evidence-based practices through brief and long-term psychotherapy, group therapy, and consultation. My work focuses on children and teens, their families, and young adults.
